Abstract

Organizations of different scale and reach. Work in environmental issues since the end of the 20th century. This has produced a variety of speeches and points of view: the risk of ozone hole, pollution and deforestation, the greenhouse effect and the gases that cause it (including CO2) and - most recently – the accelerated “climate change”, as a capacitor node of previous discussions. This field has converted into a fertile space to produce messages of different kinds. In this case, from a systematization of written messages linked to the “Climate change resilience” in Cochabamba is possible to appreciate a politicization of environmental discussions in the press releases. Whereas, in the information from the web, it can be noted the relationship between the funding sources, the promotion of certain themes, such as resilience and adaptation to climate change and its main application in rural areas. Besides, it tends to produce less technical information, and more speeches about “how things should be” in messages associated to the urban.
