Notes on history, symbolisms and power relations in the urban structure of the Bicentennial Cochabamba

Abstract

This article summarizes the research of two hundred years of Cochabamba libertarían process from a historical perspective and social semiotic approach. Otherwise, this article intends to drawn the untold story set or accepted in the city and the use of symbolic public spaces for social actors who have held various power networks over the processes of the last century, according to the use of urban spaces.
